Katy Armes

Hospitality has always been in Katy Armes’ DNA, but the path to creating Mirrorball Northwest was shaped by both hard-won triumphs and deeply personal trials.

A late-night conversation in a Stillwater steakhouse kitchen changed everything — steering her from politics into hospitality and igniting a passion that would carry her from Oklahoma State University’s Hotel and Restaurant Administration program to the heart of Oregon’s wine country. There, she spent more than a decade managing tasting rooms, crafting unforgettable events, and building a network that bridges wine, food, and community.

In early 2024, Katy underwent brain surgery, beginning a year-long journey of physical, emotional, and financial recovery. That chapter brought fierce clarity: time is too precious to wait, and connection is everything.

The name Mirrorball was inspired by the song lyric, “I’ll show you every version of yourself tonight.” For Katy, it’s a promise — that this space will reflect the best of everyone who walks through its doors. It’s about gathering, celebrating, and seeing yourself in a new light.

Mirrorball Northwest is more than an event space; it’s a testament to resilience, reinvention, and the belief that shared moments can transform us all.
